Who is theJDman?
The following story is true and all facts have been documented.
The date is May 27 in the year 1994, the day Radio was changed forever. It is on this night that the World was introduced to theJDman and theJDman Show. On that night theJDman started to shake the boat, abandoning the traditional typical DJ style in favor of a more personal and interactive style and a greatly reduced reliance on music. The show was based around the trio: theJDman, his Technical Producer Ho-Chen, and frequent caller Milton
It didn't take long for forces to plot against theJDman and began planting the seeds of his destruction. Staying true to his motto: "Doesn't play well with others" theJDman was making enemies left and right. During that Summer theJDman had monumental run-ins with Ross Perot, Snoop Dog, Rosanne Barr, the FCC, Dr. Dre, Winona Ryder, ect... and when all was said and done theJDman was removed from the public airwaves. An attempted re-start off the show was quickly squashed by the Station and the FCC.
Now, fifteen years to the day it started, we are proud to welcome back theJDman.
